We include plenty of humor in our episodes, in order to make learning fun and keep you motivated. The characters are played by professional actors from all over the world, with a variety of accents (North American, British, Irish, Australian, Asian, South American, etc.).

The episodes follow the daily life of a company, with meetings, written exchanges, phone conversations, etc. But we also include chats by the water cooler, holidays, cultural differences, etc.

Personalized explanations

Each question and exercise in your lesson is explained and corrected in the second e-mail. All of your answers are marked, and you learn why each answer was right or wrong.

 

Choose the English vocabulary you need

Just tick the box next to the terms and expressions which you'd like to learn more about. They'll be explained to you in your correction e-mail, and then you'll receive more information and reminders about this new vocabulary in a timely fashion in future lessons.

 

Scripts of the dialogues and audio files

You receive the scripts in your correction e-mail, once you have answered the questions. Feel free to listen again to the audio, while reading the script.

We all learn differently, which is why no two GymGlish users receive the same course. Our Artificial Intelligence engine, A9expert, identifies your English strengths and weaknesses based on the answers you give and what you have asked to focus on.

 

Reviewing yesterday's mistakes and learning what went wrong

Based on the answers you give in each lesson, the next day's lesson offers explanations of the concepts you haven't yet mastered, and translations of terms or expressions you're struggling with. Don't worry if you can't retain everything: we'll keep reviewing key points over time.

 

Assessment

We initially assess your English level during the first ten GymGlish lessons. After that, we continually monitor your progress and adjust the content of your lessons to suit your needs.

 

Up to five lessons per week

You can receive up to five lessons each week. If you don't have time to complete any given lesson, don't worry: you'll be sent a reminder, and the story won't move on without you. GymGlish waits for your answers before building the next lesson.

Don't worry if you can't retain all the information in your correction e-mail. Any mistakes you made will be looked at again in the future, to help you remember where you went wrong.

Our Artificial Intelligence system chooses your daily episode based on your level of English and the professional vocabulary areas and other topics you have selected. The stories help you to improve your English vocabulary, learn useful expressions, and feel more comfortable speaking English. You can use your online Workbook to let us know which topics you'd like to focus on in your lessons.

Revision and retaining what you have learnt

GymGlish keeps track of your progress. To make sure that you commit your new knowledge to your long-term memory, we build a personalized revision program which reviews all the points covered in a timely manner. The English you learn will stick!

 

Your GymGlish certificate

At the end of your course, you will receive a GymGlish certificate showing your level, the progress you have made, your participation rate, the number of lessons you completed, etc.
