Still and yet
• STILL 表达一个在过去时开始，延续到现在的动作或者状态:
Still single? 依然单身？
Is Horatio still in his laboratory? 霍雷肖还在实验室里吗？
I still don't know what you're talking about. 我依然不明白你说得是什么。
• YET 与'still'含义类似，但是使用在否定结构中:
Have you already eaten? - Not yet. 你吃过了吗？ -还没。
They haven't left yet. 他们还没走。
Bruno has not yet given us his instructions. 布鲁诺还没有给我们下达他的指示。
• YET在肯定句中使用的几个例子:
There's time yet. = There's still time. 还有时间。
He has yet to find an investor. = He still hasn't found an investor. 他仍然需要找投资人。
注意，still一般放在动词前, 而yet通常放在句子末尾。
