Most adapt their ending to agree with the gender and the number of the noun they accompany.

Una cirujana buena; unas cirujanas buenas; un hotel bonito; unos hoteles bonitos.

A good surgeon (female); some good surgeons (female, plural); a nice hotel (masculine); some nice hotels (masculine, plural)

Note: Some adjectives don’t change to agree with gender:

Una mujer amable; un hombre amable; unas personas egoístas; unos niños egoístas.

A nice woman; a nice man; some selfish people; some selfish kids
