Simple present and simple past of caber

The verb caber (to fit) is irregular in both the simple present and the simple past. 

Presente

caber en

Yo quepo
cabes
Él/ella/usted cabe
Nosotros/as cabemos
Vosotros/as cabéis
Ellos/ellas/ustedes caben

Pretérito indefinido

caber en

Yo cupe
cupiste
Él/ella/usted cupo
Nosotros/as cupimos
Vosotros/as cupisteis
Ellos/ellas/ustedes cupieron

No quepo en el asiento.

I don't fit in the seat.

El sofá no cupo en el coche.

The sofa didn't fit in the car.

Note: the verb caber does not have the same irregularity in the future or imperfect.
