Vous pouvez enlever l'eau et les pâtes s’il vous plaît ? (Can you remove the water and pasta, please?). Enlever (to remove) is in the infinitive because it comes after another verb: pouvez (can). Example: tu peux enlever tes chaussures ? (can you take off your shoes?).

2 Autre chose :

Autre chose ? (Anything else?). Autre chose is used in everyday spoken French as a shortened form of Vous désirez/voulez autre chose ? (Would you like anything else?). Example: - Je vais prendre une baguette et un croissant. - Vous désirez autre chose/Autre chose ? - Non, ce sera tout (-I'll have a baguette and a croissant. -Would you like anything else? - No, that's all).

3 Maintenant :

Maintenant ça fait 48 dollars (Now it comes to 48 dollars). Maintenant means “now”. Example: partons maintenant ! (let's go now!).

4 ça fait :

Maintenant ça fait 48 dollars (Now it comes to 48 dollars). Ça fait means “that makes, that comes to” when referring to an amount (here: 48 dollars). We can use it to answer the question Combien ça fait ? or Ça fait combien ? (How much is that?). Example: - Je vous paie l'addition, ça fait combien ? - Ça fait 15 euros (-I'll pay your bill, how much is it? -It comes to 15 euros).
