To make a comparison of superiority, we use the structure plus + adjective (e.g., grand - “large, tall”, petit - “small”, gentil - “kind”) + que. Example: Jojo est plus grand que Théo (Jojo is taller than Théo).

C'est peut-être la meilleure solution (Maybe this is the best solution). We use c'est (this is, that is) + singular word (here: la meilleure solution) to describe or introduce something or someone. Examples: c'est génial ! (that's great!); c’est ma valise (this is my suitcase).

4 la meilleure :

C'est peut-être la meilleure solution (Maybe this is the best solution). We use la meilleure in front of a feminine noun (here, solution). Le meilleur / la meilleure (the best) is the superlative of bon / bonne (good). Normally, we use le/la + plus + adjective (moderne - “modern”, grand - “large” etc.) to form the superlative, but bon/bonne is irregular. Example: tu es ma meilleure amie ! (you're my best friend!).
