Acheter acheter, présent (to buy) is the verb associated with un achat (a purchase). Note: l'achat (purchase), la vente (sale) and la location (rental) are the main services offered by une agence immobilière (a real estate agent). Examples: personne ne veut acheter l'hôtel Belamour (no one wants to buy the Hotel Belamour); Théo a fait des achats au supermarché (Théo made purchases at the supermarket).
Vendre vendre, présent (to sell) is the verb associated with une vente (a sale). Example: Anna veut vendre l'hôtel Belamour (Anna wants to sell the Hotel Belamour); ma maison est en vente (my house is for sale).
The verb rechercher rechercher, présent (to look for) is associated with the noun une recherche (a search). In this context, we could also use the verb chercher (to look for).
