Les pronoms COI : te, lui, leur ...
Les pronoms COI (complément d’objet indirect) remplacent des noms employés avec un verbe + à, comme demander à, dire à, écrire à, parler à, téléphoner à, etc.
Jojo répond à Nadia. → Il lui répond.
Je téléphone à Betty → Je lui téléphone.
Les pronoms COI sont les suivants :

Remarques :
• En général, les pronoms COI se placent avant le verbe, y compris à la forme négative.
- Tu me parles ? - Non, je ne te parle pas.
• Me et te deviennent m', t' devant une voyelle et un h muet.
- Tu m'écris ? - Oui, je t'écris.
• Lui remplace les noms féminins et masculins.
Anna dit merci à Théo. → Anna lui dit merci.
Je demande à ma fille. → Je lui demande.

Anna téléphone à ses parents (Anna calls her parents) → Anna leur téléphone (Anna calls them). We use leur PRONOMS COI to replace the plural noun à ses parents. Another example: Betty écrit à des clients (Betty writes to some customers) → Betty leur écrit (Betty writes to them).
Betty écrit à moi (Betty writes to me) → Betty m'écrit (Betty writes to me). We use me (or m' before a vowel) in place of à moi (to me). Another example: mon chien obéit à moi (my dog obeys me) → mon chien m'obéit (my dog obeys me).

Tu (you) is a subject pronoun PRONOMS SUJETS, so it can't replace à toi (to you). Example: tu parles très bien français (you speak French very well).
Vous is the 2nd person plural, not the singular that corresponds to à toi. Example: je parle à toi et ton frère (I'm talking to you and your brother) → je vous parle (I'm talking to you).
Nadia répond à toi et moi (Nadia replies to you and me) → Nadia nous répond (Nadia replies to us). We use nous PRONOMS COI instead of à toi et moi. Another example: tu mens à Anna et moi (you're lying to Anna and me) → tu nous mens (you're lying to us).
We could say elle répond à moi (literally, “she responds to me”) → elle me répond (she answers me). In this case, me replaces à moi (to me), not à toi et moi (to you and me).
We could say elle répond à mes frères (she replies to my brothers) → elle leur répond (she replies to them), where leur replaces à mes frères (to my brothers), not à toi et moi (to you and me).
Betty dit merci à Jojo (Betty says thanks to Jojo) → Betty lui dit merci (Betty says thanks to him). We use lui PRONOMS COI in place of à Jojo, because JoJo is the equivalent of il/elle (he/she). Example: il parle à une amie (he talks to a friend) → il lui parle (he talks to her).
Tu (you) is a subject pronoun PRONOMS SUJETS, so it can't be used in place of à Jojo. Example: tu dis merci à Jojo (you say thank you to Jojo).
We could say Betty cherche Jojo (Betty is looking for Jojo) → Betty le cherche (Betty is looking for him), where le is the direct object pronoun PRONOMS COD used in place of Jojo. However, we needed to replace à Jojo (to Jojo) here.
