This sentence uses "to call into question" correctly. To "call something into question" is to "doubt", "question", or "suspect it to be untrue". This is the same way that the idiom is used in the article: "Sir Bear called into question the accepted science that the emission of greenhouse gases is contributing to global warming".
This is a good choice. To "call something into question" is to "dispute" or "argue with" it in this case. Another example: "Your ability as a teacher is not being called into question: we know you're a great teacher!".
This isn't a good example of "to call someone into question". We could say "the police called me in for questioning" if the police made you go to the station and answer their questions!
