1 to relax: This is the best choice here. Imagine getting home tonight and sitting back on your sofa. You'd feel relaxed right? That's why these two terms are synonymous! Now sit back and enjoy the rest of your feedback, you might just learn something!
1 to forget: This is not synonymous with to "sit back". To "forget" means to be unable to remember. For example "I didn't forget to send the cheque. It's in the post! I promise!".
1 to worry: Although people do worry about their home security, it is not the right definition here. Words that are synonymous with to "worry" include to be "concerned", "troubled" or "distracted".
2 to be intelligent: This is the correct choice! Other synonyms include "bright", "smart" and "clever". For example "She's a very wise woman, and lives her life with intelligence and grace."
2 to be courageous: This is not the right answer. To be courageous means to be "brave". For example, "The vaccination goes straight into the buttock. It doesn’t hurt! Try to be courageous!".
2 to be scared: This is incorrect. To be scared means to be "frightened", "afraid" or "terrified". For example, "I was so scared during that film, I spent half the time behind the sofa!"
3 however you feel is appropriate: This is the right definition! If you see something as being "fit", you see it as being "appropriate" or "suitable". Another example would be "Do the work as you see fit. It's up to you to prioritize your own workload.".
3 whatever you can afford : This is incorrect. To "afford" means to "be able to meet the expense of something" or to "have enough money to do something or buy something". An example of this would be "I can’t afford to have plastic surgery, so I’ll just have to stay ugly.".
3 as thoroughly as possible: "Thoroughly" means "completely" or "utterly" or "totally". It is not the correct definition for to "see fit". An example of its use: "I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and was so shocked to discover I'd eaten crocodile meat!".
