1 voyage: A "voyage" is a long journey to a foreign or distant place. We usually (although not exclusively) go on a voyage by sea, or into space. The term is usually pronounced without a French accent, so it is not a good idea to copy Jean.
2 countdown: A "countdown" refers to the act of counting backwards to time a critical operation exactly - in this case the detonation of explosives (or the launch of a space vehicle). In such cases it is common to say "T minus X seconds" where T = the exact launch time. On New Year's Eve (31st December) it is traditional to count down the seconds (starting from 10, finishing at 0) before midnight when the new year arrives.
