This statement is true. Bruno says "our current banker Samuel Shadetree is actually an old friend of mine". We can therefore assume that they have known each other for "a while". "A while" refers to a period of time. In this context it indicates the considerable period of time that Bruno and Sam Shadetree have known each other.
This statement is false. Although Bruno tells Icarus that he would like to proceed "cautiously" (carefully or with prudence), he never advises Icarus to "forget about the situation", or to let Bruno deal with it entirely. Bruno wants to be part of the process, along with Icarus and Sam Shadetree.
This is a true statement. Bruno tells Icarus "we should talk further" about the situation, then says "I would like avoid doing anything drastic here". Both of these statements indicate that Bruno prefers to proceed cautiously, carefully or with prudence. The term "drastic" refers to something extreme or severe.
This statement is false. Bruno does ask Icarus to schedule a meeting with Sam, however Bruno specifically says "we should talk things over", which indicates that he wants to be part of the process to resolve the banking problem.

This answer is correct. The report stated that the broomstick was impounded, meaning that it was taken from Trotter and is being kept by the police. The verb "to confiscate" shares a similar meaning with the verb "to impound". In most cases, "to impound" is used in legal contexts when something has been seized and retained (by an authority).
This is incorrect. The police received an "anonymous tip" from someone reporting the crime. This means that someone called the police to report the crime. There is no mention of Trotter confessing to the crime in this report.
This answer is correct. Apparently there was a "wizard-pigeon collision". When two things "collide" with each other they "bump" or "crash" into one another. Moira also says that the collision occurred in "mid-air" which means in "the middle of the air".
This is incorrect. Moira says in her report that "1 pigeon is killed every 2 hours" due to collisions with wizards, which suggests that accidents like this happen frequently.
This is incorrect. Moira describes how police discovered that the broomstick was "stolen". This means that the broomstick was taken from the owner without their knowledge or permission.

The expression "at once" means "immediately". To do something "at once" is to do it "without delay". Example: "Take those shoes off at once! I think you've walked in dog dirt". Do not confuse the expression "at once" with the term "once", which means "one time" or "at one point in time".
This is correct. To do something "promptly" is to do it "very soon" or "without delay". Example: "I asked him to promptly remove his arm from my thigh". In his email, Bruno thanks Donna and Brian for their "prompt attention" to his request.
This is incorrect. The term "later" describes something which happens "after the current time" or "in the future". Bruno writes that he wants to see Brian and Donna "immediately". This means "now", not "later".
To do something "in a while" is to do it "later" or "in the (near) future". Example: "I don't have time to finish my homework immediately. I'll do it in a while". Bruno writes that he wants to see Brian and Donna "immediately": not "in a while".

Excerpt: Please meet me in my office immediately...
Thanks for your prompt attention to this matter.

This is a true statement. Harold says "a supermarket, haven't been to one of these in a while". When we haven't done something "in a while", we haven't done it recently, or some time has passed since we did this thing. Example: "You smell like you haven't had a shower in a while".
This is a false statement. Harold does not ask the assistant where the medicine can be found, so we cannot say that this is a concern of his. The young man simply offers this information when he hears Harold cough.
This statement is true. Harold asks the sales assistant where to find several items including "steaks", "whisky", and "aftershave". This means that he cannot locate these products alone. He confesses that he hasn't been to a supermarket for some time!
This statement is not true. The young sales assistant is very helpful and efficient. He knows the answers to all of the questions which Harold asks him.
