Bon 还是 bien?

Bon(好的)与名词搭配使用,并与名词保持性数一致:

我认识一位好医生。

这些水果真好吃!

注意:bon(好闻的)与 sentir(闻起来)连用时,不需要配合主语进行变形:

这些花闻起来很香。

Bien(好,很好)通常修饰动词,且永远不随名词变化形式:

我很好。

我很喜欢巴黎。

Magda 弹得很好。

注意:Bien(好)在表示道德或智识判断时,可以与名词连用:

这些书非常好。

c'est bon(好吃,很好)用于描述令人愉快的事物,c'est bien(很好,不错)用于描述成功或积极的事物:

―你喜欢炸鸡薯条吗?―喜欢,很好吃。

― 我要去 Ouarzazate 了!― 太好了!

练习 1

Complete each sentence with bon or bien.

Tu dors  ?

– Comment ça va ? – Ça va .

Anna a un travail.

Complete each sentence with bon or bien.

Tu dors bien 1 ?

– Comment ça va ? – Ça va bien 2.

Anna a un bon 3 travail.

1 bien :

Tu dors bien ? (are you sleeping well?) Bien (well) is generally used with a verb (here, dormir, meaning “to sleep”). Example: je connais bien Paris (I know Paris well).

1 bon :

We use bon (good) with a noun, not with a verb like dormir (to sleep), here in the form tu dors. Example: bon appétit! (enjoy your meal!, literally “good appetite!”).

2 bien :

– Comment ça va ? – Ça va bien (-How are you? -I'm well). We could also say je vais bien (I'm doing well). Example: - Comment allez-vous ? - Ça va bien/Je vais bien (-How are you? -I'm fine/I'm doing well).

2 bon :

Bon (good) most often refers to a noun, so we can't use it here with ça va. Example: Jules est un bon copain (Jules is a good friend).

3 bon :

Anna a un bon travail (Anna has a good job). We use bon (good) with a noun, in this case travail (job, work), and the ending changes depending on the gender and number of the noun. Example: c'est une bonne série (it's a good series).

3 bien :

Bien (well) usually refers to a verb, so we can't use it here with the noun travail (job, work). Example: nous travaillons bien ensemble (we work well together).

练习 2

Complete each sentence with bon or bien.

Théo aime voyager.

J'ai envie d'un café.

Ce parfum sent très .

Complete each sentence with bon or bien.

Théo aime bien 1 voyager.

J'ai envie d'un bon 2 café.

Ce parfum sent très bon 3.

1 bien :

Théo aime bien voyager (Théo really likes to travel, literally “Théo likes well to travel”). We generally use bien (well) with a verb. Example: tu nages bien ! (you swim well!).

1 bon :

We could say Théo a fait un bon voyage (Théo had a good trip), but we needed to use bien here with the verb aimer (to like).

2 bon :

J'ai envie d'un bon café (I want a good coffee). Bon (good) is used with a noun, in this case café (coffee). Example: c'est un bon restaurant/une bonne boulangerie (it's a good restaurant/bakery).

2 bien :

We use bien (well) with a verb, not a noun like café (coffee). Example: il danse bien (he dances well).

3 bon :

Ce parfum sent très bon (This perfume smells very good). With the verb sentir sentir, présent (to smell), we use bon (good) and it doesn't have to agree with the noun. Example: ces croissants sentent bon ! (these croissants smell good!).

3 bien :

We could say je me sens bien (I feel good) se sentir, présent. However, sentir here means “to smell” and we are describing parfum (perfume).

练习 3

Complete each sentence with bon or bien.

Caroline cuisine très .

J'adore le chocolat, c'est très  !

Tu parles l'espagnol, c'est  !

Complete each sentence with bon or bien.

Caroline cuisine très bien 1.

J'adore le chocolat, c'est très bon 2 !

Tu parles l'espagnol, c'est bien 3 !

1 bien :

Caroline cuisine très bien (Caroline cooks very well). We generally use bien (well) to add information about a verb, in this case cuisiner (to cook). Example: Paulo parle bien français (Paulo speaks French well).

1 bon :

Bon (good) refers to a noun, not a verb as in the case of cuisiner (to cook). Example: Caroline prépare de bons plats (Caroline prepares delicious dishes).

2 bon :

J'adore le chocolat, c'est très bon ! (I love chocolate, it's really good!). We use c'est bon (it's good) when we're talking about something pleasant, like le chocolat (chocolate). Example: - Tu aimes le caramel ? - Oui, c'est bon ! (-Do you like caramel? -Yes, it's good!).

2 bien :

We use c'est bien (that's good) to describe something positive or successful, so we can't use it here to describe chocolat (chocolate). Example: Vous partez en vacances ? C'est bien ! (Are you going on vacation? That's good!).

3 bien :

Tu parles l'espagnol, c'est bien ! (You speak Spanish, that's good!). We use c'est bien (that's good) to talk about something positive or successful. Example: vous êtes à l'heure, c'est bien ! (you're on time, that's good!).

3 bon :

We use c'est bon (it's good) to talk about tasty or pleasant things. We can't use it here to talk about something positive. Example: c'est bon, la pizza ! (the pizza's good!).
