地点介词：in、on、at

We live in Sheffield（我们住在 Sheffield）。在城市名称前面用 in（在……里）。例：I was born in Leeds, but I live in London now（我出生在 Leeds，但现在住在 London）。

They sit on a bench（他们坐在长椅上），on（在……上面）用于描述某物或某人接触某个表面的位置，这里是 a bench（长椅）。例：there is rain on the grass（草地上有雨水）。

Are you at the train station?（你在火车站吗？）使用 at（在），因为 the train station 是有特定功能的地点（供人们乘坐火车）。例：the wedding was at the town hall（婚礼在市政厅举行）。

Roger is at home（Roger 在家）。at home 是固定用法，因为"家"是具有特定功能的场所。例：I spend the evening at home（我整个晚上待在家里）；Roger is at the pub（Roger 在酒吧）。

Roger is in his room（Roger 在他的房间里）是正确的，因为 room 是一个封闭的空间，但 in 不能放在 home 前面。
