Some 与 any 的用法对比
我们用 some 或 any（一些，若干）+ 名词来表示某物的不确定数量。
罐子里有一些饼干。
咖啡一点都不剩了。
在肯定句中，我们使用 some（一些）。
冰箱里有一些黄油。
他们有一些好主意。
在否定句中，使用 any。
没有任何黄油。
他们没有任何好主意。
在疑问句中，我们使用：
- any（任何；一些）在大多数疑问句中使用，即询问信息时
我们需要盐吗？

- some（一些）用于提出请求或邀请，尤其是期待对方给出肯定回答时
- 你想要些茶吗？- 是的，请给我来些。
- 我可以要一些水吗，请问？- 当然可以！
注意：some 和 any 常与 -body、-thing 或 -one 结合，构成常用合成词，如 somebody（某人）、anything（任何事）、someone（某人）等。

Some or any? Pick the correct option for each sentence.
We need apples.
There aren't books on the shelf.
-Would you like coffee? -Yes, please.

There aren't any 2 books on the shelf.
-Would you like some 3 coffee? -Yes, please.
We need some apples, with some since this sentence is affirmative. Example: I can give you some ideas.
You could say we don't need any apples if the sentence was negative, but here it's affirmative.
There aren't any books on the shelf. Use any in negative sentences (in this case, with aren't). Example: we don't buy any meat.
You could say There are some books on the shelf in an affirmative sentence, but the original sentence is negative.
-Would you like some coffee? -Yes, please. In questions, use some when you want to make an offer. Example: -Would you like some more biscuits? -Yes, please!
You could use any in a question when you want to ask for information, but not when making an offer. Example: is there any coffee in the cupboard?

-Do you have news? -Not really.
I want to buy postcards.
Roger can't eat food.
Some or any? Pick the correct option for each sentence.
-Do you have any 1 news? -Not really.
I want to buy some 2 postcards.
Roger can't eat any 3 food.
-Do you have any news? -Not really. Use any in a question when you want to ask for information. Example: do you have any British friends?
Use some in questions when you wish to make an offer or a request, but not when you ask for information. Example: can I have some water, please?
I will buy some postcards, with some since the sentence is affirmative. Example: I have some issues to solve.
You could say I won't buy any postcards in a negative sentence (with won't), but in this case the sentence is affirmative.
Roger can't eat any food, with any since the sentence is negative (with can't). Example: she can't have any sweets.
Use some in an affirmative sentence, not a negative one. Example: Roger wants to live with some ducks.

-Do you have any questions? -Yes, I do. Use any in questions when you ask for information. Example: are there any supermarkets around here?
Use some in an affirmative sentence, as in I have some questions for you, but not in a question to ask for information.
-Can I try some cheese? -Of course! Use some to make a request, especially when you expect the answer to be positive. Example: -Can I have some tea, please? -Of course, help yourself!
You could use any in a question when you want to ask for information, as in Do you have any milk?, but not when you make a request.
We don't want any problems. In a negative sentence (with don't, for example), use any. Example: we can't afford any extras.
Use some in an affirmative sentence, not a negative one. Example: there are some clouds in the sky.
