True or False? Another name for Highway 1 is the "Pacific Coast Highway".
True or False? Another name for Highway 1 is the "Pacific Coast Highway".
This statement is true. Ray begins his report by saying that he and Rachid "just flew over a section of Highway One, also known as the Pacific Coast Highway, just outside of Malibu". The expression "also known as" (sometimes shortened to "a.k.a") indicates there is another name for something, in this case Highway 1. Highway 1, or the PCH, is one of America's most famous highways, largely due to its view of the California coastline. Its southern terminus is San Juan Capistrano and it extends as far north as the San Francisco Bay Area.
This statement is not false.
