This statement uses the verb "to amend" correctly. To "amend" a document is to "correct" or "fix" it. In this email, Philip explains that he will give Icarus an "amended" or "corrected" version of his expense form.
This is not a good choice. To "amend" something is to "correct" it: we cannot "amend" a person! It would have been more appropriate to say "the policeman fined me £40".
This sentence is not correct. We "amend" documents and information: not physical objects such as cars. This sentence should read "I need to take it to the garage to be mended/repaired/fixed". The verb "to mend" is used when talking about making repairs to objects.
