定义

(Alice doesn't live here) anymore: （爱丽丝不）再(住这儿了） adverb
anymore 一词用在否定和疑问结构中，用来描述缺乏某物或表示目前的状态（类似于"nowadays"）：
Jane doesn't work here anymore. 简不在这儿工作了。
They don't make cars like this anymore. 他们不再生产这样的汽车。
(Are there) any more (paper clips?): 还（有回形针吗？） adverb
在疑问结构中，any more 用来表示我们对可能的回答没有把握；而在否定结构中，它则用来表示缺少或缺乏某物：
Do you have any more ideas? 你还有其它想法吗？
I don't have any more ideas. 我没有其它想法。
(I have) no more (time): （我）没有更多（时间了） adverb
No more 用在肯定结构表示缺少或缺乏某物，有时也可以表示动作的结束：
I have no more patience for that fox. 我对那只狐狸已经没有耐心了。
I will tolerate your behaviour no more. (archaic) 我不能再容忍你的行为。

  • "Can you tell us any more?"
  • "We don't believe in fascist dictators any more."
  • "No more taxes!"
  • "No more paperwork for me!"
  • "Judge : Moving on, let's have no more interruptions."
  • "Brian : Oh, I'm terribly sorry, but we don't have any more olives."
  • "Carlos : No more milk?"
  • "When you smile at me, it's like my heart stops working, and then my stomach hurts and I cannot eat anything any more."
