This statement is true. After explaining his situation to Jean, who doesn't understand the problem, Kevin asks him to transfer him to Philip. Jean doesn't know Philip's extension, and eventually transfers Kevin to Icarus, not Philip.
This statement is false. Jean has misunderstood Kevin's statement "my car was towed". Jean thinks that Kevin has lost his "toe", which refers to the digits of his feet. The verb "tow" and the noun "toe" are pronounced exactly the same way. Kevin has not actually been injured.
This is a true statement. Kevin tells Jean that his credit card was "eaten" by a cash machine. A cash machine is a distribution point for cash. These machines destroy cards if they have been stolen or if they are overdrawn. When a card has been destroyed by a machine, we often say that the card has been "eaten" or "swallowed".
Kevin has called his own office, although Jean answers his phone call. We know this because Jean answers the phone by saying "Kevin Connors" office', as well as "I am in your office".
