The bird that flies into Jean's plane is called a "goose 1".

The plural of this word is "geese 2".
Bonus question!
The plural of this word is "geese 2".
1 goose: A "goose" is a large migratory bird, which has a shorter neck than a swan, and a larger beak than a duck and makes a "honking" noise. Roast goose makes a very nice Christmas dinner, and the French use the goose to make the luxury (and controversial) dish "foie gras". Note that Jean pronounces "goose" with a "z" sound, usually it is pronounced with a soft "c" sound.
2 geese: "Geese" is the plural noun for "goose": one goose, two geese. However, the plural for "mongoose" is "mongooses". A "mongoose" is a small cat-like carnivore. The Indian mongoose is used to fight and kill snakes. Even the mighty cobra has been defeated by this cute looking creature.
