This isn't a true statement.
This statement is false. In her message, Samantha writes that "the meeting in Hong Kong has been brought forward by 1 day". To "bring (a meeting) forward" is to move it to an earlier date, not a later date. Here's another example: "I'd like to bring my appointment with the dentist forward by a week, because my teeth are really hurting!".
