Note that "comfort" can also be used as a noun, to mean a state of physical well-being. Example: I like to sleep in comfort, so you are sleeping on the sofa tonight.
3 surgeon: A "surgeon" is a physician who specialises in "surgery", the medical procedure of cutting the body. Jean says that Florence is "married to a brain surgeon", a physician who is trained in neurosurgery. Like "rocket science", "brain surgery" refers to tasks which require a lot of intelligence, knowledge and skill. Example: I'm not a brain surgeon so I don't know how to conjugate the past perfect tense.
