1 factory: "Factory" is the term we were looking for here. A "factory" is a big building where products are manufactured. Example: "I used to work in a factory, but then my hand got cut off by one of the machines". Note the plural form: "factories".
2 unbreakable: "Unbreakable" is the best answer here. If something is "unbreakable", it cannot be broken or destroyed. This term is made up of the term "break", preceded by the prefix "un-" and the suffix "-able". Similar examples include "unforgettable",
3 worthwhile: "Worthwhile" is the best term here. A "worthwhile book" is "worth" reading: it merits the time spent reading it, or the money spent buying it. The expression used in Kevin's email is "a worthwhile investment", which describes something which is important enough to invest money in, as it will give good results in the long term.

1 Jean Marron: Fixing a network computer is exactly the type of task that an IT assistant would "take care of" or "attend to". To "fix (a computer)" is to repair it, or correct a problem with it. In the staff descriptions, we read that Jean Marron is the IT assistant, so it makes sense that he would take care of this type of IT (Information Technology) problem. A "network" printer is a printer accessible by multiple users.
2 Luna DeLune: Organizing training opportunities for staff members is exactly the type of task that Luna DeLune would handle. As an HR director, she would also mediate staff disputes, conduct staff interviews and generally act as a liaison between management and staff.
3 Hannah Benedict: Supervising product displays in retail stores is exactly the type of work that Hannah Benedict, head of retail, would take care of. Hannah is in charge of protecting Delavigne's interests at points of sales, such as Delavigne boutiques and the department stores of their partners. A "retail outlet" is a store or point of sale where products are sold, generally at full price.
4 Kevin Connors: Negotiating a contract with a Chinese factory representative is exactly the type of task that a production manager would take care of. We read in Kevin's job description that he is in contact with Delavigne Corp's manufacturers abroad, particularly in Asia. One of Kevin's job responsibilities is to negotiate prices for labor with factory representatives and management. "A factory" is a plant or production center.

Philip lists several advantages of the Delavigne Corporation's current situation. Which of the following is NOT one of the advantages mentioned by Philip?
This is true. Philip tells Barbara that Delavigne has a "new factory".
This is true. Philip says "We've got Bümbüm on board". This means the company is working with Ivana Bümbüm. "On board" is an expression meaning "on the job" or "part of a team".
This is true. Philip tells Barbara that Delavigne has "exotic new chemicals". Chemicals are the main "ingredients" of most perfumes.
This is the only statement which is not true. Philip tells Barbara that Delavigne is "set to release a new line in less than a month". To be "set to" do something means that one is "about to" or "ready to" do something. Philip says that the company will release the perfumes in the future. Also, "in less than a month" expresses that the perfumes will be released in the future.

This means that Delavigne has divisions all over the world.
divisions: A "branch" is an office of a company located in a different country or separate from its main office or headquarters. Example: The company had branches in all the major capitals of the world. Note that a "branch" can also describe the arms of a tree.
partners: A "partner" can be a person or company that works together with another person or company. Example: Our corporate partners asked to visit our main office to discuss future business. A "partner" is not the same as a "branch", which is a part of the same company in a different location.
contacts: A "contact" is a person with whom someone does business or a useful person. Example: Philip has many contacts in the cosmetics industry. A "contact" is not the same as a "branch" which is a part of a company in a different location.
factories: A "factory" is the place where products are made, assembled or packaged. Example: The chemical factory was closed because of dangerous working conditions. A "factory" is not the same as a "branch" which is a part of a company in a different location.
distributors: "Distributors" are businesses that deliver and supply products to companies and sellers. Example: Our distributors in Japan sell our products to four major retailers. The term "distributor" refers to a separate company not owned or controlled by the producer. A "distributor" is not the same as a "branch" which is a part of a company in a different location.
