Do not confuse "due" with "duly".

This is an expression of sincere personal gratitude. To be "grateful" to someone expresses to be thankful or very appreciative of someone, often for an action or service they have provided. Example: I am eternally grateful for the help you gave my family.
This is an expression of sincere personal gratitude. The verb "repay" can express that a debt is owed to someone else, and does not necessarily suggest a financial debt. It is possible to repay a debt of honor or a debt of gratitude. Example: I will probably never be able to repay you for saving my life.
"Thanks for your feedback" isn't an expression of sincere personal gratitude. "Feedback" is the return of information about something, usually an evaluation of something or someone relating to a process, activity or performance. "Thanks for your feedback" is generally used in professional situations and doesn't express the same sort of great personal gratitude that Icarus' does.
"I appreciate your attention in this matter" isn't an expression of sincere personal gratitude. The expression "I appreciate your attention in this matter" would likely be found in an a letter or email to thank someone professionally. This expression is formal and even a bit impersonal.

2 take care of: This is correct. In this context, HANDLE = TAKE CARE OF or "look after". If you TAKE CARE OF something, you take responsibility for it and make sure it is done. Example: I'll TAKE CARE OF responding to that customer complaint. Luna wants Edward to HANDLE or TAKE CARE OF the interviews, which means he will be responsible for interviewing the job candidates.
2 check up on: This is incorrect. To CHECK UP ON (something) means "to survey" or "to verify". Example: Can you CHECK UP ON my grandmother while I'm away in Russia? In the context of the email, to CHECK UP ON the interviews might mean occasionally verifying that the interviews were being conducted correctly; however, Luna wants Edward to play far more active role and actually conduct the interviews.
2 get rid of: This is incorrect. To GET RID OF means "to dispose of". Example: I'm having a garage sale to GET RID OF some unwanted Elkie Johns albums. In the context of the email, to GET RID OF the interviews would mean to cancel the interviews (though this would be a strange way to say it!). To GET RID OF is not a synonym of to HANDLE.
