1 howling: The verb 'to adore' is always followed by another verb in the progressive (ING) form. 'To howl' is to make noises, cry or scream (like a wolf at the moon).
2 swimming: The verb 'to enjoy' is always followed by another verb in the gerundive (ING) form. For example: I enjoy eating pancakes with syrup.
3 to tell: The verb 'to want' is always followed by another verb in its full infinitive form. For example: I want to eat pancakes with syrup tonight.
