that settles it: "That settles it" is the expression we were looking for here. We use this expression when we have reached a decision or an agreement. In the dialogue, when Susie tells Bruno that she came "top of her class at Oxford", he says "that settles it... You've got the job". This was the final piece of information he needed before coming to a decision. Here's another example: "-Finally, we sell the cheapest office supplies in San Francisco. -That settles it: you're our new supplier!".
