The term "jitters" describes nervous, shaky movements, or rapid movement. Example: After I fell into the lake last winter I had the jitters for hours. The caffeine in coffee is something that could give a person "the jitters" or make them "nervous" especially if they drink too much.
A "headache" describes pain or hurting in your head. Example: The music was so loud it gave me a headache. "The jitters" does not describe "a headache", but rather the state of being nervous.
An "upset stomach" is a condition where your stomach does not feel good or is unsettled.Example: After eating too much ice cream and cake, I had an upset stomach. "The jitters" does not describe an "upset stomach" but rather the state of being nervous.
