This is a true statement. When Philip says that he was told that Maria was busy, Maria says: "No, no. She got tonight confused with tomorrow night".
Maria actually suggests meeting in the hotel "lobby". The lobby is the entry area of a building, generally located just beyond the front door.
This is a true statement. When Philip proposes dinner, Maria responds: "I'd love to", meaning that she looks forward to meeting Philip for dinner. This tells us that Maria is "eager" to meet Philip, or that she is excited to meet him.
Maria tells Philip that her friend was incorrect or mistaken in saying that Maria was already busy tonight. The purpose of her phone call to Philip is to set up a date with him. Maria doesn't have previous plans for the evening.
