"After about 20 seconds you will be able to log in normally."

Which of the following terms could replace the term "log in" and keep the same meaning?

There may be more than one correct choice!
This is correct. To "log in" means to enter identifying data (usually username and password) in order to access a multi-user system such as a computer network. "Log on" means exactly the same thing as "log in". Note, "log in" can also be used as a noun but is usually written as one word. For example: "Have you been given a login for giantjugs.com yet?".
This is right. "Sign in" can be used as a synonym for "log in" or "log on". "To sign in" means to enter a username and password as a means of authentication. For example: "I can't sign in to check my emails because I've forgotten my password. Blast!" Note that we can also say "sign on".
This is incorrect. "Subscribe" means to begin a subscription to a magazine, newspaper or website. For example, "I've subscribed to receive a monthly magazine called "Guns and Killing". I'm tired of being a pacifist".
This is incorrect. "Sign up" means to enlist in an organization or group, to register or to subscribe. For example: "I've signed up for the army, apparently it's a good way to get a free haircut".
This is incorrect. "Tune in" means to adjust a radio or television in order to receive a signal or a particular station. For example: "Tune in to BBC3 next week to find out if Brad will get married to a giraffe".
This is incorrect. "Log out" (or "log off") means to terminate or end a computer session using a multi-user system, or a connection to such a system. It has the opposite meaning to "log in". For example: "Do you mind if I log you out of your session? I need to log in using my administrator account".

1 log on: This is the right answer. To "log on" means to enter identifying data (usually username and password) in order to access a multi-user system such as a computer network. Note "log in" is a synonym of "log on" and can be used in exactly the same way. For example: "You have to log in if you want to invite new friends on MyFace.com".
2 USB key: This is correct. A USB (universal serial bus) key is a type of small, lightweight, removable and rewritable storage device that has largely replaced older storage devices such as the floppy disk.
3 shortcut: This is the right choice. A "shortcut" means a shorter or quicker way. In the dialogue, Keith talks about his "keyboard shortcuts" which means allocating "key stroke" combinations to perform tasks that would take longer with a mouse. For example: Ctrl + G might open a window to www.geek.com! "Shortcut" is a common and useful word in more general English. For example: "The journey only took an hour because we found a shortcut".
