The "petrol" expense is only $56.00. This is actually the "smallest" or "cheapest" purchase, not the most expensive.
Philip does not state that he hired a car. In fact, he mentions his "private car", which is probably his own, personal vehicle.
This is incorrect. The "meal" on this list is a "Business lunch with (Harold) Warbuckle". This cost $256.45. That may seem expensive, but it's not the MOST expensive purchase on the list.
