1 star key: The "star key" is found in the lower left corner of most telephones. Its symbol looks like this: *. This key is often used to return to a main menu, repeat options or to confirm a choice. Brian tells Bruno that he will press the "star key" to begin recording a message.
2 outgoing: "Outgoing (mail)" describes mail which is to be sent out or posted. The term has many meanings in different contexts. For example: An outgoing person is extroverted or friendly, while an outgoing train is leaving the station rather than coming into it.
3 incoming: "Incoming (mail)" describes post or mail which has been received, (as opposed to "outgoing" mail, which is to be sent out or posted). The term has many meanings in different contexts. For example: Incoming trains are those arriving at the station, and an incoming governor is one who will take office soon.
