This is not the best choice. Although Icarus does describes some of his responsibilities ("I do a lot of stapling. As an accountant, I deal with many papers"), this is not the main purpose of his email. He is actually asking Polly for repayment of his stapler.
This is not a true statement. Icarus has already purchased a stapler. He wants to be reimbursed for this purchase if other people in the office are going to use the stapler which he bought for himself.
This is the best choice here. Icarus writes this email first to announce that he has bought a new stapler, and eventually to request that he be reimbursed by the company.
