Umm, it's not such a good idea to wear a tuxedo in the rain. A tuxedo is a fancy suit for men, generally worn at weddings and other formal events.
It's always smart to take an umbrella with you when it rains. An umbrella is a sort of cane with a canopy attached which protects from the rain and pigeon droppings.

A "slicker" is a raincoat, generally made of a glossy material such as plastic or rubber to repel the rain. This is a good thing to wear in the rain.
