play: The term "play" describes a dramatic work which consists of different characters acting out a "story". In the broadcast Brent asks Belinda if she has seen "any good plays".
exhibit: An "exhibit" often describes a piece or series of pieces of artwork put on display for the public. Both the collection and the event are called an "exhibition". In the broadcast, Brent asks Belinda if she has seen any "art exhibits" she can recommend. Note that an "exhibit" in British English only ever refers to a piece of art being exhibited, and never to an "exhibition".
musical: The term "musical" describes a piece of theatre or film which includes songs and dance routines as part of the performance.
cinema: The term "cinema" has a few meanings, but in this context refers to the place where films are watched by a group of people.
theater: This is the correct choice. In America, the place where people go to watch a film is often called a "movie theater". In British English, the term "theatre" is only used to refer to the place where you go to watch a play, a ballet or an opera.
