The apartment is very small（这套公寓非常小）。面积只有 "140 sq ft"，而不是 big（大）。square foot（平方英尺，缩写为 sq ft 或 ft²）是美国使用的面积单位，约等于 0.09 平方米。例：Luxembourg is a small country（卢森堡是一个小国家）；the studio is about 300 sq ft（这间工作室约为 300 平方英尺）。
公寓里如果有人做鱼，可能会有难闻的 smell（气味），但图片里不是这个意思。例：-What's that smell? -It's the soup.（- 这是什么气味？- 是汤的味道。）
smile（微笑）不符合这里的语境。例：Smile for the camera!（对着镜头微笑！）
The apartment is not calm（这套公寓不安静），它很noisy（嘈杂）。如果你不喜欢一套公寓因为太吵，可以要求换一套calmer（更安静的）。例：There's no traffic on my street so it's very calm. But your street is calmer（我的街道没有车流，所以非常安静。但你的街道更安静一些）。
The apartment is cold（公寓很冷）在这里不符合题意。例：It's 0 degrees Celsius. It's very cold!（现在是零摄氏度，非常冷！）
Come（来）是一个动词，不能用来描述这套公寓。例：Alex, come into the house!（Alex，进屋来！）
The apartment is expensive（这套公寓很贵）。例：One million dollars? That's an expensive house!（一百万美元？那真是一栋昂贵的房子！）
Rich（富有的）用来描述买公寓的人，而不是公寓本身。例：Brad is very rich; he can buy a Rolls Royce（Brad 非常富有；他可以买一辆劳斯莱斯）。
A chair（椅子）在这里不合适。
