The plant is growing. 植物正在长大。
My grandfather grows lettuce in his garden. 我父亲在他的花园里种生菜。
The profits have grown by 20%. 利润上涨了20%。
To grow还有其他的含义:
He's growing impatient. 他变得不耐烦了。

This is an irregular verb:

to grow up: 成熟,长大 verb
You've grown up. 你长大成人了。
