This is the only true statement here. Bill wants Bruno to "buy 200 shares" in "a small company listed on NASDAQ", because they are soon to increase in value. "Shares" are a company's "stock": it is possible to buy them as a financial investment. Bill tells Bruno that he is "a stockbroker for Potty and Pilchard Ltd". "Stockbrokers" are agents involved in the buying and selling of stocks and shares on the financial markets.
This statement is false. A "market collapse" is when stocks or shares lose a lot of their value very quickly. Bill does have inside information for Bruno, but it is not related to problems on the financial market. Something which is "upcoming" is going to happen in the near future.
This is a false statement. Bill denies that this activity is illegal: "having the right connections isn't (illegal)".
This is not true. "Wake-up calls" are a service offered by many hotels: a guest can request a telephone call from a member of staff at a certain time, and this call acts as an alarm. Although Bill wakes Bruno up, this is not the purpose of his call.

This is a correct statement. Philip says, "is it ok if I settle my bill tomorrow morning? I'm exhausted and would really like to get some sleep." The receptionist agrees to this request. "To settle (a bill)" is "to pay (a bill)".
This is an incorrect statement. At the end of the conversation, Philip asks for a "wake-up call at 7.30am". A "wake-up call" is when hotel reception phones your room to wake you up at a specified time - they act like an alarm clock! Philip does not want to sleep late (=stay in bed later than normal) - he wants to be woken up!

1 awake: If you are not sleeping (or asleep), you are awake. Example: If you are reading this, you are probably AWAKE!
2 wide awake: 'Wide awake' is a common idiom that means completely or fully awake. Example: I was WIDE AWAKE at 7am because my neighbor was using an electric drill. In the conversation, the woman at the reception desk asks, 'does that mean that you're awake?'; to which Philip replies, 'Yes, I'm wide awake!' - to emphasize the fact that he is completely awake!
3 wake-up: As we have seen in previous questions, a 'wake-up' or 'wake-up call' is when someone (often hotel reception) purposefully wakes you up (stops you sleeping) at a specified time.
4 wake: 'To wake someone (up)' means to stop someone (who is asleep) from sleeping; literally 'to make them awake'. Note: 'to wake' and 'to awake' are similar terms, but in modern English, 'to wake (up)' is used a lot more. Example: 'I WOKE my friend UP at 7am' is a lot more natural than 'I AWOKE my friend at 7am'. As a general rule, 'to awake' is intransitive. However, although it is possible to say, 'he awoke at 10am', it is more common to say 'he woke up at 10am'.
5 wakey: 'Wakey wakey' is a popular expression used when waking someone up. We often add the 'rise and shine' after it. Apparently, this is a reference to the sun (which rises in the morning and shines!). I love the sun!
