Choose TRUE statement(s) from the choices below. Be careful! There may be more than one correct answer!
This is a true statement. Great Britain is composed of three countries: England (capital: London), Scotland (capital: Edinburgh), and Wales (capital: Cardiff). Great Britain and Northern Ireland (capital: Belfast) together make the United Kingdom! It's all a bit complicated, really.
This statement is not true. Kevin says "boats aren't like planes... they're planned at irregular intervals". Every four weeks would be a regular interval, so this is not the right answer.
This is a correct choice. Kevin says "...out of Southampton, England, and it takes around 16 days to get to Itaguai port, near Rio de Janeiro". A "fortnight" means "two weeks". There are fourteen days in two weeks, it therefore takes more than a fortnight to get from Southampton to Brazil!
This is not a true statement. The perfume has already been made and will not require any additional effort from the factory employees. Kevin says "they've got quite a surplus in their warehouse". This means they don't need to make any more! They already have enough in the factory.
