hearing: "Hearing", auditory perception, describes the ability to listen and perceive sound with one's ears. For example: My hearing is worse since the explosion. It's well known that listening to a Gymglish audio every day improves your hearing. Note the difference between "to listen" - actively trying to perceive sound or understand something, and "hearing" - passively perceiving sound through your ears, or undertstanding something.
touch: "Touch" describes the act of 'feeling' with one's hands or fingers, and the sense that it produces. Example: The blind woman uses touch to feel the features of the face.
smell: "Smell" describes the sense of perceiving odors with the nose. In the audio, Dr. von Headcold tells Bruno that he has lost "ability to smell" following his automobile accident. Note the use of the verb "to smell". Example: I can smell your socks from the other side of the room.
sight: "Sight" describes the ability to perceive an image visually, or "to see". Without "sight" we can't watch television, and without television where would we be? Example: My sight improved when I got glasses and realized that they were helpful for driving a school bus.
taste: "Taste" describes the act or sensation of detecting flavor using the mouth and tongue. You have obviously good "taste" if you've done 3 Gymglish lessons so far, Bruno.
