Let's find some terms used in the dialogue!

First, we're looking for an expression meaning "please wait for a moment" or "hold on":
- Can I come in?
- Just a minute 1, I'm naked! Let me put some clothes on first please! (THREE WORDS)

Now find the term which means an "untidy" or "dirty" state:
I want you to tidy up the mess 2 in your room before grandma comes to visit.
1 Just a minute: "Just a minute" is the right answer. We use this expression to ask someone to "wait for a moment". Another example: "-Mum, I want an ice cream! -Just a minute darling, I'm busy". Note that Stacey also says "just a second", and this would be another appropriate choice here.
2 mess: "Mess" is the term we were looking for here. A "mess" is an "untidy state" or a "dirty condition". Note that there is a related adjective: "messy". Here's another example: "-Clean up the mess in this office! -Oh calm down, it's not that messy".

Fill in the blanks below with terms from the dialogue. Use the hints to help you!

The papers which are normally on Icarus' desk 1 (a common piece of office furniture), are now on the floor 2 (the ground, or the surface of a room).

An office which is orderly and organized can be called [not done] neat 3, while an office which is disorganized can be called a [not done] mess 4.
1 desk: A "desk" is a common piece of furniture on which people work. It is generally a flat surface made of wood or metal with four legs, a lot like a "table"!
2 floor: A "floor" describes the bottom surface within a home or building. Icarus complains that papers which were once on his desk, are now on the "floor".
3 neat: The adjective "neat" describes something orderly, clean or organized. Icarus describes a neat pile of letters on his desk before Philip and Samantha made a mess in his office.
4 mess: A "mess" is a state of disorder or untidiness, for example: I'm a very messy person, I always leave my bedroom in a mess. Icarus is upset because his normally organized office has become "messy" or "a mess".
