Para fazer perguntas com o verbo to be (ser/estar), siga a estrutura: verbo to be + sujeito + …?

- Você está no quarto? - Sim.

- Timmy está em Liverpool? - Não, não está.

Se a pergunta inclui uma palavra interrogativa (when (quando), where (onde), how (como), etc.), coloque-a sempre no início, seguida da estrutura descrita acima.

Onde você está? Estou no escritório.

- Como vai Roger? - Ele vai bem.

Nota: após palavras interrogativas, você pode usar a forma contraída do verbo to be.

- Qual é o seu nome? - Meu nome é Bruno.

- Quem é esse homem? - É o Shorty.

-How old are you? -I am 34 years old. If you want to ask someone's age, use the verb to be and follow this structure: question word (how old) + verb to be (in this case are) + subject (here you) + ?. Example: -How old is Sarah? - She is 29 years old.

2 are you hungry:

-Are you hungry? -Yes, I am. When you ask a question with the verb to be, start with the verb (in this case are), followed by the subject (you), then any other elements of the question (hungry). Example: -Are you in Lisbon? -No, I am in Bath.

3 are we in Scotland:

-Are we in Scotland? -No, we are not in Scotland. When you ask questions with the verb to be, follow the structure: verb to be (in this case are) + subject (we) + …? Example: -Are you at the restaurant? - No, we are at the supermarket.

-Where are you now? -I am at the restaurant. To ask about the location of a person or object, you can say where + verb to be (in this case are) + subject (here you). Example: -Where is my jacket? -It is in the wardrobe.
