Oh my! Os adjetivos possessivos
Em inglês, os adjetivos possessivos indicam que algo pertence a uma pessoa ou coisa, ou tem relação com ela.

Você tem um cachorro → Seu cachorro.
O adjetivo possessivo é sempre colocado antes do substantivo ao qual se refere.
A ideia deles é brilhante.
Assim como os outros adjetivos, os adjetivos possessivos não concordam em gênero ou número com o substantivo que os segue.
Meu gato é fofo. Meus gatos são fofos.
O irmão dela fala inglês. A irmã dela fala inglês.
Nota: para fazer uma pergunta sobre posse, usamos whose (de quem?).

I → my friends . When the possessor is I, always use my Possessive adjectives, before singular and plural nouns. Examples: I → my cat; I → my job.
He → his friends Possessive adjectives. Use his when the possessor is equivalent to he (♂). Examples: Roger → his family; Roger → his phones.
It → its friends . Use its Possessive adjectives when you are speaking about something that belongs to, or is a part of, an animal, plant or object (it). Examples: the lion → its tail; the tree → its leaves.
You → your friends . Note that your Possessive adjectives is used for both the singular and plural possessive. Examples: you → your children; you → your hand.
