I majored in French at college, but after 50 years without practicing, I have forgotten so much. Trying to find a way to bring it back without starting with the boring beginnings, I chanced upon Frantastique. The test gave me a starting point without the drudgery of drill and practice. I enjoyed the lessons and was much more confident when I finally got to visit Paris. I was able to converse with cab drivers and waiters quite comfortably. It was great fun and I will continue the lessons now that I am home again. At my age, it is good to keep the brain active, and this seems to be an enjoyable way to keep on learning.
