一般将来时用于表达预测、即兴决定以及不受我们控制的将来事件（生日、天气等）。
我认为我的球队会赢得这场比赛。（预测）
我饿了。我要来一个三明治。（临时决定）
我妈妈明年就要满 80 岁了。（不受我们控制的未来事件）
一般将来时的动词变位结构如下：
- 肯定形式 → will + 不带 to 的动词原形
我有一天会去澳大利亚。
- 否定形式：will not + 不带 to 的动词不定式
天不会下雪。
- 疑问形式 → will + 主语 + 不带 to 的动词原形 + …?
- 你愿意嫁给我吗？（to marry：嫁，娶）
还有两种常见的缩写形式：will → 'll；will not → won't。
她将会提这个问题。→ 她会提这个问题。
我们不会准时到达。→ 我们不会准时到达。
注意：英语中还有其他表达将来动作的方式，但现在不必担心，你在后续的学习中会逐渐了解。

Future: She will 1 go to Cardiff.
Present: Timmy makes a hamburger. →
Future: Timmy will make 2 a hamburger.
Present: I don't call you. →
Future: I won't 3 call you.
She will go to Cardiff. In the affirmative form of the future simple, use will + infinitive without to (here, to go). Example: maybe they will go to the mountains.
The willies are the shivers you get when you are scared, not a form of the future simple. Example: that horror film gave me the willies.
You can ask for the bill when you want to pay at a restaurant, but you cannot use this word to form the future simple. Example: can I have the bill, please?
Timmy will make a hamburger. After will, add the infinitive without to (to make) to form the future simple. Example: you will enjoy the show.
To make is the infinitive form of the verb, but we remove to to form the future simple. Example: I want to make an exception.
You can say Timmy makes a hamburger in the present simple, but you do not use the form ending in -s in the future simple.
I won't call you. Use won't (short for will not) + infinitive without to (to call) to create the negative form of the future simple. Example: Timmy will not/won't come back soon.
You can say I want to call you with the verb to want in the present simple tense, but here we asked for the future simple of the verb to call.
You could say I will not call you, but here we are missing will.

You will be happy in the new house with will + infinitive without to (to be) to form the future simple. Example: they will arrive around noon.
They will not understand your idea. Use will not + infinitive without to (here, understand) to make the future simple negative. Example: we will not leave soon.
Will Anna open a new hotel? To ask questions in the future simple tense, follow the structure: will + subject (here, Anna) + infinitive without to (to open) + … ? Example: will you buy the tickets later?
