Responder a uma pergunta apenas com Yes (sim) ou No (não) pode ser visto como direto demais e indelicado. Para soar mais educado, adicione uma resposta curta.

A estrutura das respostas curtas é: Yes/No (sim/não), + pronome sujeito Subject personal pronouns + a forma adequada da primeira palavra da pergunta (o verbo to be (ser/estar), to have (ter) ou palavras como do/does, can (poder), will, must (dever), etc.).
