Celsius is the temperature scale that registers the point where water freezes (changes to ice) as 0 degrees. Water boils at 100 degrees Celsius. "Celsius" is a temperature scale widely used around the world, with the notable exception of the United States.
The formula for converting Celsius to Fahrenheit: °C = (°F – 32) / 1.8°
0 degrees Celsius = 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
