This is not the best choice here. If someone says money is "close to their heart", it does not mean that they keep their financial details private, secret or "to themselves".
This is correct. If something is "close to one's heart", it is important or significant (to someone). For example: "Madhavi moved from India to Britain when she was 25. Since then, the subject of immigration has been close to her heart". In the audio, Brent says, "money is very close to my heart" to indicate that he is interested in money, and probably motivated by it!
This is not the best choice here. If money is "close to Brent's heart", Brent is probably concerned about money, but only to the extent that it is important to him and he likes it. The expression does not imply that Brent is worried or anxious about money.
