This is a false statement. Brent tells us that after the break they are interviewing "a real vampire from Transylvania". A "vampire" is one of the living dead, who feed off of human blood according to the legends. Count Dracula, the most famous of all vampires, is believed to have lived in Transylvania, a region of Romania. Don't confuse Transylvania with a "transvestite", a person who likes to dress up in the clothes traditionally worn by the opposite sex.
This is a true statement. Brent tells us that one Halloween he wore a hot dog costume, got chased by a neighbor's dog and had to "hide in a dumpster all night". A "dumpster" is a large rubbish bin (UK) or garbage can (US). "To hide (oneself)" is to conceal oneself, or to go somewhere where one cannot be seen.
This is a true statement. Moira wants to know "about the contest". A "contest" is another name for a "competition". Radio Rhubarb is accepting emails from its listeners and will give a prize to the listener with the "scariest" (or most frightening) story. Brent tells us that the prize is a "trip for two to a haunted castle in Scotland". A "trip" is a "voyage", "journey" or "holiday".
This is a false statement. Brent asks Moira how they celebrate Halloween in Scotland. Moira replies that "it's pretty much the same as in America actually". If one thing is "pretty much the same" as another it means that they are similar, or that there are no major differences between them. According to Moira, Scottish people celebrate Halloween in more or less the same way as Americans.
