Floyd mentions this method. "CCTV" stands for "closed-circuit television" and consists of cameras used to deter thieves. Sometimes the cameras are visible, and sometimes they are hidden! Interesting fact: it is estimated that on a 30 minute walk through London, the average person is filmed 400 times by CCTV!
This is a good choice. Floyd explains that "motion-activated security lights" are an option to consider with home security. These are lights that come on when a detector senses someone's presence. This is a very common way of scaring burglars. Burglars get the impression that there's someone home if a light suddenly comes on.
