This is incorrect. Some people have been working so long that they almost seem part of the PREMISES! However, the term PREMISES describes the combination of permanent features in a building - it does not extend to living things like people!
This is correct. The PREMISES is the combination of land and buildings that are considered to be the "place of the business". Example: All food in the restaurant is cooked on the PREMISES. The janitor for the "Delavigne PREMISES" would be responsible for cleaning the public areas in the Delavigne offices and grounds, doing minor repairs and, if they're lucky, removing garbage.
